Hello. I have a 2002 SLK230 convertable and it's picked up a problem where the roof warning light will beep nonstop at times. It generally seems to happen when I take quick turns but recently it's started to go off when just starting the car or driving casually. The roof mechanism works perfectly fine so I don't think there is any mechanical fault other than a sensor acting up or something similar. Does anyone know of an easy solution to perhaps disable the warning beep all together? (Seems as though it would be safe since there doesn't seem to be anything mechanically wrong with the car)
