Default Need Help! My SLK230 engine light P0101 Still On

Hi All, I need help with my 2001 SLk 230 my engine light is on. I cleaned my MAF and cleared the code and the engine light came back on. So I bought a new MAF cleared the code and the engine light still comes on. I checked for broken vacuum hoses and found none. I was told it could be the VAF or CKT but I have not clue what that is? Any ideas would help I will try anything to get that engine light out... Thanks!!!

valve 002 140 68 60 could be the problem. was for me. the valve inline with valve 002 140 37 60 between the engine and the intake hose coming out of the filter housing. it's tucked under the intake hose, inline with the 37 60 valve.

look for the valve with that part # on it under the intake hose coming out of the air filter housing. you can see it easily with a flashlight. if that don't work, it could be an oxygen sensor. it will take about a hundred miles or more for the cel to go out by itselt if you don't clear it yourself and assuming that part was the problem.. unfortunately, sometimes new parts are bad too. try to buy oem.

Default I will try and find the item!!!

Thanks for the detail info. I will try and find it today and let you know how it goes. Talking about the oxygen sensor sometimes the code for a bad oxygen sensor comes up. What I did was change the gas that I was using and that has not come up since. So maybe it could be a bad or going bad oxygen sensor. First I am going to look for that sensor under the air filter.. Thanks for your help.... This is just driving me crazy...
