K40 relay R170

This is a common issue on these vehicles . Dry joint on the fuel pump relay. Resoldering fixes.

This module gives a few different problems, the main one being fuel pump probs.
It is worth opening the computer box and pulling it out for a look.
It is a multi relay pcb. Some of the sldered joints suffer from cracking and dry joints.
A simple sesolder can fiw or prevent a few frustrating issues.

RE: K40 relay R170

Thanks for the demo Bazzle.

Stuart and I followed it to the letter on Sunday morning.

Once inspected and found to be sound we refitted it and the car started.. always a bonus!

However, as all the joints were found to be good, it seems it's time to look at the CPS.

Cheers, Si
