The convertible top was leaking hydraulic fluid from the seal on the lock actuator. I have heard people say they replace the seal with an o-ring, but I cannot seem to get the little C shaped retainer out to pop the seal out. Is there anyone on here that has done it before and I can send the part to and they could do it for me. Much appreciated if anyone can help. Thanks

 

That ring is hard to get out. I notched the actuator. I then rotated the ring around to the notch and pryed one end of the ring up. Rotate the ring while prying to remove it. If the catoon I sketched doesn't come a cross, send me an E-mail at Tandembikers@sbcglobal.net and I will send it to you showing you where to cut the notch.
