Has anyone used an engine flush to clean their engine> SLK230 '01
As soon as I change the oil it gets very dark in a few days...I am considering using an engine flush to clean the engine up?
Is that a good idea? any suggestions on brand name?

Why??
Just changing the oil and filter regularly should do it unless its starting to gum up for some strange reason?
If it is I would be worried about moving deposits that may block an oilway somewhere.
I just suck the oil out every 10,000 kilometeres.
Just my thoughts

hi mate,
in my opinion do not flush engine oil.
my previous car (mitsubishi pajero mk2 2.5) engine dead (valve stuck and broke then stuck head of the piston, also engine head damaged) 3-4 weeks after I flushed it engine oil.
I prefer regularly change oil and oil filter every 7500KM.
it is just my opinion.
cheers
