Default Chrysler Crossfire Oil Filter

Hi BikerDrew,
Did you ever get the oil filter form Chrysler for your SLK320? If so, do you have a part number? Thought it would great to march in to the dealer, with the number in hand.

Default RE: Chrysler Crossfire Oil Filter

I asked my local auto parts store to get one from the MB store in Portland, OR to save me the drive ($23 plus WA sales tax). I did not get the part number. Next time I need one I will be ordering from Get Cool Parts. com (our sponsor) since they are more than $5 cheaper per unit and have the exact replacement. It is good to know we have options though. I bought my Mobil 1 oil at Walmart.

I purchased the oil change system described in this article:

http://www.slk32.com/pages/oilchange/oilchange.html

and changed my own oil and filter which was clean and easy and saved me more than the cost of all the tools on the first change!

Let me know what you think.
