RE: Wind Deflector
hi
i am based in the UK - and bought one from www.ebay.de (german translation is "windschott")
it was long winded a little - with direct bank transfer etc .. and langauge barrier
but was successful
I paid about £80 ($160) for mine
there is a slight difference with it
regards

RE: Wind Deflector
I was searching eBay looking for one for my 02 CLK320. Couldn't stand the idea of paying $250+ for one, and the dealer's price of $425 for a new one was ridiculous. I had bought my car from a small Mercedes used car dealer earlier this year. I called them up and told them what I was searching for. I told them that most people wouldn't even know or realize when they buy the convertible that it does or doesn't have one of these. I asked them if they would consider basically swiping one out of a car they had for sale on the lot and selling it to me for $200. They called me back and agreed. I paid them, got one in like-new condition complete with the storage bag.
BTW, I LOVE having this. I'm a die-hard the-top-must-be-down type person, and with the wind deflector installed and the side windows up on the freeway, there's not even a breeze inside the passenger compartment.
