Trunk Lid
I just purchased a 2006 Mercedes SL 500 and the trunk lid does not stay up when opened. The dealer stated they are not supposed to stay up. I do not believe this is correct, can anyone that owns a SL confirm.

should stay up if lifted high. half way down no. unless equipped with an auto lift feature, if not may need new trunk struts.
