Touch Up Paint Alternate Source

I needed some touch up paint for my '94 SL, and I didn't want to have to drive all the way to the dealer, order some, and drive all the way back to the dealer to pick it up. So, I went to Autozone and looked thru their large collection of Dupli-Color touch up paints. Rats, no older Mercedes paint listed. Then, I decided to just look thru the colors of the bottles, and I was amazed to find that the Chrysler Emerald Green paint matched my Mercedes emerald green color exactly. Then I remembered that Chrysler used to be a part of Daimler, so I guess they shared some paint colors to reduce corporate costs.
So, if you need touch up paint, look thru the Chrysler colors that Dupli-Color offers and you may find an exact match like I did. Cost is $6.95 each
