Sway bar
I have a 1984 500 SEL and the front sway bar is broken. What do i need to do to fix it?

No. You can't break a sway bar. Maybe an end link. So first, figure out what specifically is "broken".

Sway bar rotted out on the end that attches to the link. the bushing that goes in the link,as well as the end of the sway bar are gone

Ah, so something's rusted away to non-existence. Sounds like fabrication time, or swap-out if you can find the right bits at a junkers.
