Storing SL550

Storing SL550
I have to leave my 2007 SL unused for 3-5 months at a time. Please can someone advise me whether I shoulddisconnect the battery/ies on my SL (it has a new starter battery), whether I can reset the windows, roof closing etc myself easily, or whether they will reset themselves after a period of driving.
Also, I inflate the tires to 45psito prvent flat spots. Is this OK?
Thanks

jon..
i have an 03 sl...that i drive very infrequently, maybe once every 3 weeks in the winter.
id strongly suggest that you purchase a baattery maintainer (float charger) for both the
front and rear , eliminating the need for disconnecting or resetting codes and it is also good
for the battery life.

Thanks - is there a maintainer you know of that is made which is DC battery powered? My SL is parked in a high-rise with no AC power source nearby.
Also - do you over-inflate your tires when not in use?
Thanks again.

RE: Storing SL550
jls..
i am unaware of any dc powered unit commercialy available..
it would be possible to design and construct one , but it would require
some pretty high capacity batteries that would oversupply the 13.3 float voltage.
so it would be a pretty good cash outlay for enough batteries to last for 5 months.
you might consider solar panels with charge regulators.(charge regulators are an absolute must)
i have never raised the airpressure in my tires, but by comparison my sl sits
for much shorter periods and i have it on a garage pad.
