Default Starting problem

Good Day,

I have a problem getting the car started when it is warm. When I first get in it when the car is cold, it starts up just like it should. However, if I go into the grocery store or let the car sit more than 15 minutes, it turns over for about 10 seconds before it finally catches. Has anyone heard of this problem before? If so, what is its diagnosis? Thanks for any advice and be blessed.

It could very well be your overload protection relay. I sell them for $51.00.

I'm curious if any of you have found the solution to this. My 560 runs fine off idle and when cold, but when it's warm 10-20 mile on the highway, it idles rough. When I turn it off and go to re-start it ( couple of minutes later ) it fires upand disengages the start but dies, It always starts the second time, but runs rough for about the first block just off idle. If I give it the gas it takes off running smoothly. I've done basic service like spark plugs, checked ignition wires, cap and rotor and cleaned the air filter. I even ran a few tank fulls of fuel system cleaner through it ( which seemed to helped slightly ). I'm not quite to the point of taking it to the dealership since that would cost me $200.00 - $500.00 USD minimum with no garentee that they would fix the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Default RE: Starting problem

It sounds to me that you may have a prob with the fuel accumulator(hard start when warm) and O2 sensor and eha valve (rough idle when warm) the O2 sensor tells the eha either to lean or richen the fuel mixture..
