sl500 1998 heater warm but not hot enough

hi all my sl500 1998 heater getswarm but not hot enough any ideas what it could be? its the r129 model,cheers guys

First thing to check with any lack of heat complaint is "is the cooling system full" second is the engine temperature reaching its normal range? a weak thermostat will affect in car temperature.
