Default setting the clock

I have trouble to set the clock in my sl55. After setting the clock time according to the instruction, it get slower over time, maybe I missed something, anyone have idea?

there a bulletin regarding that. dont remember what the fix is maybe a comand unit software flash or a version coding change, these need to be done at the dealer. if you can, if you have the option to. change the setting from "in synch with headunit" in the settings in the cluster. not sure if that will help but you can try it. the technician should be aware of the bulletin.

My sl 500 has the same problem, the service rep told me it was a problem with the satellite that downloads the time to the car. I don't know whether that is bs or not, just seems that a car that retailed for 100k when new, the clock ought to keep time. unsynching mine did not help.

Before the warranty expired, it took three trip to the dealer to correct the problem. Now the warranty expired, I changed the summer daily saving time, the slow clock problem resume. MB USA own us a duty to tell us how to correct them to save the trip to the dealer and solve the problem after the warranty expired.
