Replace Command w/ Aftermarket?
Hi,
I have a 2003 SL500 and I cannot put up with the antiquated NAV and poor sounding audio system any longer. Has anyone with an '03--'06 SL ever replaced their COMMAND with an aftermarket unit? If I were to do that, do you know if that would mess up the Tele-Aid system?
I'd like something like the Pioneer Avic-D3 or Avic-Z2 units, but I have been told they will not work in an SL.
Any info you can provide would be really appreciated.
