No, dealer only.If you want another key you have to buy it from the dealer. You can't find or buy a key to another car and expect it to be recoded to your car, it doesn't work that way.

Yes you can code your own key. I did it when I bought a second key, and it's a piece of cake.

1. With the car already turned off, and drivers window down and your original key inserted
in ignition
2. Turn ignition on
3. Point the new key at the drivers door and click to unlock twice
4. Start the car then turn off
5. point the key at the driver's door and click unlock twice again

All this needs to be done in quick succession, so do not delay between steps.

I am told that it does not necessarily work first time, but it did with me.

Good luck.

paul, the new key you got is a replacement or additional key for your car. we have no problem with that.

mryaya's key is bought from ebay or roadside parts store, we got problem with that.

even if he will go to the dealer, his key would be useless.

fact is: a random code is stored inside the key. this code is being replaced everytime you insert the key in the EIS where the communication takes place via infrared.

buying a used key with different stored code will be rejected by the electronic ignition.
