Ihave bought many tops, usually every 5-7 yrs., since buying my first 190 SL in 1961. I always asked for Hartz canvas, and usually replacedbecause ofcloudy plexiglas. I got an excellent installation for the going $1000. at Southern Auto Trim in Ft Lauderdale last year. In less than a year, the stitching rotted, and the window started to fall out. I "gooped" it back together, and asked Robins to stand behind their stated 5 yr. warrantee. They refused to help. FYI: These heavier fabrics do not fold properly in boot!
