merc sl 300, indicators, wipers not working?

Cool merc sl 300, indicators, wipers not working?

hi, i was using the car the other day when the indicators stopped working, also the hazards.
the wipers only work on 1 setting?

hazards and indicators work when i set the alarm , at no other time

any ideas


also can any one tell me where the central locking control unit is located

many thanks

remove the battery cover in the trunk. the right panel. you'll see your vacuum pump and mounted up and to the left of it will be the central locking module. can't believe some of the crazy stuff that can come up on these cars. why would that effect your wiper in that way? hummmm

the central locking module is tied together with the combination relay module and the anti-theft alarm control. The combination relay is the second largest module in the relay compartment at the drivers side hood hinge. that handles the wiper, turn signals, rear window defrost, ATA etc. the anti-theft module N26 or ATA is up by the gas lid lock above the vacuum pump. the combination relay N10/2 is a good suspect judging by its relationship to all your problems.
