Not knowing anything about your area, see if there are any older mb techs working in a dealer in your area. Older the better. They grew up on these cars and probably understand them better then anything newer. Mercedes years ago used to have certified repair facilitys. Not new car dealers just repair. Mercedes pulled the plug on that quite a few years ago. Some of these are still in business without MB backing. See if you can find one with someone that has experience working on these cars. Would probably take a little work on your part but well worth it in the long run. They could get factory training and diag material along with tooling until they pulled the plug.

You can use the search tool as well to enter the name of your community, town, etc. for the closest independent service provider that other owners recommend or look through the extensive listings.
