Default Lost power to Windows, Indicators and Speedo

Hello, I am hoping someone can help me,
On my 1989 500SL: I have lost power to both electric windows, the indicators ( the hazard lights work fine, and the speedometer....
The fuses in the drivers side footwell all look fine, Are there other fuses somewhere that protect these?

Any suggestions welcomed!!!

Many thanks in advance,
:-)

Dont trust how the fuse looks. Replace the fuse or fuses that control these circuits with new copper element ones. The silver element fuses tend to develop hair line cracks that are hard to see as well as building up corrosion at either end. One other thing that might cause this is an ignition key not fully returning to the run postion as you take away your hand from the key. Rather rare though.

Thanks Carnut,

The ignition doesn't seem sticky, but when turning the key back a little, the window worked - - perhaps just coincidence.

Some of my fuses are copper, but when I took them all out I found the #5 had blown/split, not noticable from a purely visual inspection.

Now problem fixted, I have indicators, speedo and windows , cause = the #5 8A fuse.

Just goes to show, 'Don't overlook the obvious'
