Insurance

Hey yall, who are your insurance providers? I just got a quote for $8000 to insure my SL380!! I know this is rediculous.... who do you have, and what do you pay?

In Texas, I was paying about $800.00 a year for 1984 500SL (Euro version) Full Coverage. 380 is an American version (smaller engine)and insurance was about 2/3 of that. Allstate.

Was this collectors insurance? or was it regular, and also, what's your age (as age has a large bering on what it costs)

Your driving record bears more on insurance costs than your age does. You must be one Hell of a menace on the streets. What company gave you that quote?
