I am hoping someone can direct me in the right direction for fixing my dash lights. When I bought the car the previous owner told me the dash lights went out on him after they start to flicker to the point where they dont work now at all. It is only the instrument lights. Not the indicator lights. So I can see not gauges or shifter lights. I believe the power wire for the lights is the grey/purple tracer. I have tested this one and it does work only when the lights are on. I thought when the radio was replaced that that was the problem but after correcting some of the wiring mess ups it did not fix the the lights.

 

Forget it. Dumb person who installed the radio screwed it up. Moved wire around and fixed it.

 

there is a rheostat also.
