Returning home after dark, my instrument lights did not come on. In this car, the fader switch is on the same switch that resets the odometer. I got fuel earlier in the day and reset it. I have checked the fuse (#10) but also note it controls other functions that all work. The fuse was not blown. Any ideas?

 

Resolution: After paying for 4 hours labor at an independent, they found I had a broken wire under the center console under the ashtray. That repaired, I also found that they reprovided me with the automatic volume control that has been missing since the radio was out for repair 18 months ago. Hopefully, good things will come in 3's.
