Ok, yeah, so I havent quite figured out how to find decent features and specs online and I really have a hankerin to know where to find features and specs on the 560SEL.
At the end of next quarter I am conning my rents into getting me $12,000 worth of car, and I have narrowed it down to a 2000 VW GTI and the 560 SEL or maybe a 64 Jetstar 88 (Mint Condition Pearl White, friend owns it) and I really wany to know if the SEL has enough getup that I wont be embarased of it. Just for perspective a corporation in my home town can get ~300hp/300tq from a GTI
(www.goapr.com) so any help would be amazing.

 

Some version of the 560SEL have 300HP, I think its the European ones. One of those should be as quick as the gold, the extra torque of the V8 would counter its extra weight.
