Hi all, I've searched for 3 days throughout the internet and forums and haven't found out the info I'm looking for. On my 97 SL320 it was apparently wired for the telephone option from the factory. The microphone and speaker were the only thing left when I bought her a couple of weeks ago. I retired from the Police Dept. and still like to listen to them. I thought I would try to use the power am/fm/cell power antenna for the scanner. I assume that the setup was for the old analog cell systems at the time. On the Hirschmann splitter #AP 9016/11 there are a number of ports, one of which is the "telephone" port which is empty. I need to know what type of cable end it uses. The port is a male connector if that helps. I'm trying to do this without the hassle of removing it. Any help would be appreciated. Hirschmann's site is of no help and the local MB service dept. didn't have anyone that knew anything about it!! Hopefully someone out there might have had a run in with this splitter in the past.
