Gentleman and Ladies,

I have a dilemma.

I have decided to buy an SL.

I have two choices.

A 2005, SL500 Aegean Blue with 3K miles, for 48K, or

A 2006 SL55 White with 5K miles with the 14K perf. Package for 64K.

Both cars are Pano, Key less go CD changer.

Which car is more drivable, enjoyable and affordable.

My concerns are as follows Ride Quality of the SL55

5 Speed trans over the 7 Speed pros and cons.

Depreciation at this point going forward.

Repair of the more specialized SL55.

Horse power of the SL500 being adequate.

I am used to a faster car having a callaway supercharged corvette.

One part of me says save the money.

The other part of me says get the Kooler car.
