HEADLIGHT WASHER
 

JUST BOUGHT A 1998SL 500 AND BROUGHT IT HOME AND SURE NUFF AFTER MY WIFE CLEANED THE INSIDE{TOOTH PIC AND TOOTH BRUSH CLEANING] THE HEADLIGHT WASHER KEEPS SQUIRTING WATER TILL EMPTY. HEY DIDNT ACT UP ALL THE WAY HOME BUT NOW DONT KNOW HOW TO STOP IT. ANY SUGGESTIONS OR TIPS THANKS TONS MIKE

I've got the same problem......No help for you, just know there's others with the same problem.

Make sure the wipers are laying above the glass mound on the headlight. If not, swing it open and loosen the nut. When adjusted, tighten the nut. Work the wipers with the headlights on and then turn them off. See where the wipers end. They should be above the protruding tit. If not, loosen and realign.

Ditto Paddlemarv above....worked on mine. I left the nust to the wiper arm loose and ran the washer thru the cycle with the lights on and then turned them off and aligned the wiper blade above the tit and tightend nut.
