Default Electrical problems? 1992 300 sl

I have a problem with turn signals and hazard lights.
These items do not work until the car has been driven
for at least an hour. I replaced the old battery with a new
one but the problem still persists. Does any one have any solutions?
Thankyou.

if after you order in and replace with the oem bulbs and you still have a problem, Do you know if the car was made for a Canadian or U.S. market? I have had good luck with www.autohausaz.com for parts.

then you have a running light module that american cars don't. It turns on the lights when you start the car.

Thanks, I do have running lights when the car is started.
Does this mean the module needs replacing?

possibly. there are two other modules in the system, the flasher/hazard relay/module and the light failure module (unlikely to cause the problem), both are side by side in the fuse/relay/module compartment on the drivers side at rear corner of the engine compartment. but replace the lights first, those modules are usually pretty solid.

I mean it's possible, but unlikely that the running light module could be your light problem, but it is supposed to turn on your lights when you start your car. so in that respect we know it works.
