The brushed stainless steel or aluminum strip (about 10mm wide) on the door sill of my 1995 SL500 came loose and got bent when the door closed. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement strip? My parts list shows the inner door sill plate as one part number 129 680 02 35, probably the plastic sill plate with the attached metal strip. Thanks for any advice!!
