Now that I have my new to me 1999 sl 500 just curious what you are using to:

1. When there are just some dirty areas that need refreshing and
2. To polish the car periodically

 

I have a black sl & slk, so I use a couple of 3M products that have provento beexcellent The polish is for dark cars, part #39009. The wax is 39526. The wax lasts far longer than anything I've ever used, plus it's UV. Use any good UV conditioner on all plastics, rubber seals,leather and vinyl. It's a roadster and sunlight is hard on everything.
