Default 94 SL500 No Hot Start

After much trouble shooting and parts replacement my problem ended up being a loose retaining bolt on the crank sensor. The bolt did not have a lock washer on it, I put in a 1/8" longer bolt ans added the lock washer and have not had any problems since.

Hi, I had the same problem with my 94 SL500. Problem ended up being bad fuel injectors.
Good Luck,
Bob

I agree, a friend of mine that works at DSRLeasing used to have the very same problem, although it was long, long time ago. It turned out to be fuel injectors as well.

Hi,
I had a similar problem with my 1994 SL500. I replaced the crank sensor and I thought it fixed the problem but it came back. Ended up being bad fuel injectors. I installed a rebuilt set in the car and have had no problems since.
Good Luck,
Bob
