I have just purchased a 1995 (W129) SL 500, and the car is missing (2) of the tabs on the A/C vents and it is driving me crazy. I was wondering if a part like this can be ordered online? I have been scouring the Internet for an hour and keep coming up empty handed.
Adsitco does not have them either .

You can get these from the dealer - items like these can more often be cheaper than eBay etc.

My local Mercedes dealership would not sell me the tabs alone. The "louvers" vents had to be purchased whole. Cost center $500 and driverside $130. I will look to find these elsewhere.

 

I would argue the point with the dealer, some have a habit of refusing to sell parts, perticularly the ATF 'dipstick' on 722.6 transmissions.
