WHAT IS THE STARTER BATTERY GROUP SIZE FOR A 2003 SL500?

 

What do you mean group size? Why do you need it? Whats the problem with your car? I have the same car like yours.

 

i have tried to find the same information....with no success.
the closest i came , was either optima or interstate.
but when i checked the actual listed dimensions of the listed equivalent
they were larger than the oem battery..
im sure you have noted that the starter battery is somewhat unique in size.
and the little hole it goes in is pretty restrictive..
i fear that mercedes has made it virtually impossible to obtain
any aftermarket product....if im wrong , i welcome someone
helping us both out.
