Hello all,

Brand new here. Just picked up a '94 SL500 w/57K original miles. Took off the original 16" wheels and replaced them with 18" (oem SL wheels/tires). Wanting to get rid of the awful fender gap above the tire, especially the front! Anybody have an experience with lowering these cars? The back could use 1" but the front more like 2". Athestically the car just doesn't look right with all that space above the top of the tire and will be more in line with how MBZ designs the cars today with minimal gap. Any body with a SL that has been lowered that can offer some suggestions? Many thanks in advance!
