Have had this car for 5 years. very little trouble. triple black, very nice.

overhead map lights have always worked. two manual lights on the right rocker switch. the left side of left rocker is the one activated by the door being opened. the right side of the left rocker is another manual map light.
The one on the left that is activated by the door never worked. all of the door lights work and the locking system locks and unlocks all items as it should. I removed the lights from the console to check out the bulb. everything seemed ok but when I put them back neither side worked. Checked fuse #9, ok. flasher and all other cabin lights still work.
Any ideas would be great.
