Unhappy 78 450SL passenger side leak near fuse panel

I have water getting into the passenger side. It ends up at the fuse panel. I take it, a drain from the outside vent is clogged, but I cannot find any drain. Does someone now where to look and how to unclog it?

I just discovered that I have this problem too. Have you fixed yours? If so, what did you have to do? Please help. Thanks.

I have unclogged all six underbody drains, the gas cap drain, and tried the drains in the heater blower in the engine compartment. I couldn't find the drains in there, although they are supposed to be in there on the front side. I probably need a small mirror or something. These are the ones, when clogged, that let water into the heating system and thus drip on the mats, and if unlucky on your fuse panel. Although, I have also read that there are drains in the top of the windshield pillars, and that a leaking windshield can do the same.

Let's keep us posted,

Wes

Mine one is dry! I just brougt it from US to Norway (EU). It stayed 1 week in NY outside at the terrible weather you had. (for a month ago) Well, with hardtop on.. I got it brought over yesterday, so I felt very exited, first thing to do was to flip it over into my dry garasje! ..There are drainholes all over (missing plugs?), but mine was surprisly dry-all over! Why? got no idea!!! Please tell me: where is the car wet? If in front of the floor? Then there might be that the aircondition vent hose had a crack- or missing???
