Curious as to what is the better decision, buy a 19k 2004 500SL with 19k miles, flawless condition for $37k or go with 2006 with 67k miles for $36k that's in excellent condition? Options are basically the same except 06 has the panoramic roof.

the 04 is basically new. the 04 if the carfax checks out.

 

Cars can deteriorate from sitting. I would have the 04 low miles car checked thoroughly before spending that much money, especially if its been subjected to extreme cold or heat. I'd want to know why miles were so low and when they were put on. Don't assume the car has been in shrink wrap.
