Well, I was able to get the magazine to eject from the CD changer, however, when I loaded the CDs into the magazine and inserted it back into the changer the head unit says "magazine empty". I went back to the trunch, opened the door on the changer and ejected the magazine and reinserted it, I watched as the CD's were being fed into the changer, but ejected back to the magazine. I clicked on the CD button on the head unit and again, it says magazine empty.
Any thoughts???? I'm baffled. [sm=dontgetit.gif]

Scott,
I have a similar issue, the dealer checked out the changer and said the changer is going bad. If you research this forum you will find numerous posts around this issue including links to sites for repair and instruction to replace. All very useful. I am going to repolace mine, seems this is common in the 99 sl500 (from my research).
Good luck!
