1979 450 sl fuel pump
Hello everyone. I trying to restore a 1979 450 sl that suffered some fire damage. The car was in running condition but then the fuel pump stopped working. I replaced it but still can’t get anything to happen. I did double check the old pump out of the car first and it was dead. I check voltage at the pump and I’m getting 8 volts only during cranking. I was thinking of checking the wiring to the fuel pump circuit but I don’t have any schematics for the car. The fire was in the passenger seat and floor area so a lot of the fuse and relay area was pretty hot. Can anyone help me with locating the fuse and relay for the fuel pump? Am I even looking in the right direction?
Thanks

Yes i'm still looking for some help.
I did figure out that the wire on the fuel pump that had the rubber boot wansn't positive. I now have the pump working. The car will start if Iput something down the intake. It will run for a few minutes and then die. It wants to die if i push on the gas. I changed the fuel filter and nothing changed. I checked fuel pressure at engine and had 70psi. I cracked an injector line and didn't get any pressure. What part do I check next?
