Hi there,

I have a 2006 Mercedes S-320 and I need a new engine and turbo. My engine number is (642930). After 2 weeks of searching I have given up as none of the companies seem genuine.

I have now been offered a 2010 E350 engine from a W207 E-Class Coupe/Cabrio(642836) and I have been assured that this will be compatible with my car. If anybody can help me to confirm this it would be greatly appreciated.

out of curiosity, what happened to the old 2006 S320 engine. Kind of young for an engine and turbo replacement.
