Hello all,

Beeing the happy owner of a 1987 190E 2.6 for 12 years without a single mechanical problem ( except a faulty charge-relay ), its time to step up on a S500 W220 model. Looking at mobile.de and autoscout24.de + auto-motor-und-sport.

There seems to be some confusion about the early 2000 model released spring 1999, and the 2000 model sold in 2000.

Can anybody tell me if there were any changes done ?

For example the engine are sometimes shown as KW/PS 220/299 and not 225/306 ???

0-60 acc. for 1999 model is 7.3 sec, but for the 2000 model its 6,5 sec. ???

Does any one know a link to a database with MB chassis number in order to check production date etc. ?
