Default W220 Air Suspension

My car is sitting all the way on the ground, i cant start the engine in order to get air into the shocks, is there some kind of valve through which i can get air into the shocks, this would be really helpful since i got to tow the car to the dealer.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

the only thing i can think of is get power to the air pump somehow, i think its located under the back seat.
i wouldnt pressure it different you can blow out the lines and shocks with too much pressure.

Hi, Air pump is almost under the front head light (drivers side in UK) in the front bumper, you need to remove the cover underneath the bumper.
You may also check the relay (Singed "O" in the fuse box) under the bonnet

However I dont think you can do anything as there should be a leak in the system and that's why the car is down.

Hope it helps

i found the air pump, in 2004 S430 its located under front right headlight. The relay N is responsible for it, which is located at right fusebox under the hood. Now i have an ability to raise up the car.
There is no leak in the system, since the air escapes if you dont start the car for a while. I've seen this happen with many Benzes 2000-up

Thanks for your input you guys

Allright, so I ran into a little problem: I am powering up the air pump, and the car DOES NOT RAISE!!!! Is there a valve that has to be activated that lets air into the shocks????There are some valves on the block that has all the hoses from the shocks go into, maybe its one of those??Anyone has any ideas???Any input is greatly appreciated!!! I need Sleepwalker[&:]

So I was able to get power to open up the valve, first only one side of the car was raising, THEN there was a loud bang like hose blown or something and all the air escaped and car went back down. So i tried again and only right side was raising again, THEN there was this noise again and all air escaped again. I figured that it must be some kind of bleeder valve or something. HELP!!!

I feel your pain, and I wish that I could be of help to you; but I'm afraid you need a tow to the shop. I know if Sleepwalker was around, he would be the one with an answer. But since he's not, you may want to invest in a manual from www.manualsunlimited.com. It will cost you probably $79.00, and it's worth it. But, in the interim, you need a tow. Let us know what you had to do to fix it. Best to you.

i am towing the car to the dealer for service anyways, cuz they have to do whole bunch of programming. But since my car is all the way down, i dont want to mess it up under and front/back bumpers. In time like this, i wish sleepwalker would be here!!
