Car says system is unavilable does the Module need to be changed

no, could mean the sensors at the wheels are bad or could be a bad tpm module. sometimes unplugging the module can reset the system. module is passneger side. under the dash against the fire wall. like a small 3-4 inch box with a 2 pin connector.

Thanks I will try to locate it (tire shop claims the sensors are good) will investigate but I am not a too hand on I dont want to break anything thanks a lot

Does the lithium battery in the tpms sometimes die out ?
My machanic claims that they go out in 4-5 years of model car age?
If I let him disable it will any other system go bad?
Or should I shell out almost a grand for 4 new sensors from the dealer?

personally i think tpm is just a pain in the ***. when my batteries in my cars TPM go bad thats it. I check my tire pressure regularly anyway. people went with NO tpm for years without a problem, now the TPM light comes on and people panic.
they do have a battery life,id say they last about that, but probably less. you can disable it but you need to disable the tpm and also turn it off it the cluster and maybe the EIS. if he has the correct equipment he can probably disable it.
