Default Tire pressure sensors

Hi,

I was hoping someone could help me with the purschase of the correct wheel sensors for my 2002 S600. I recently bought 4 new AMG wheels that look great, but didn't come with the wheel sensors, and as a result I keep getting a msg in the display all the time tell me to bring it in and get the tire pressure system checked.

I don't want to take the sensors off my other wheels because they have snow tires mounted on them. The dealer wants over $200 a piece for the sensors; Tire Rack wants $65, but they have several sensors which transmit at different frequencies, and their not sure which is the correct one for my car.

The dealer has not been very helpful.

The sensors are made by Behr and are the same as the ones supplied by Mercedes. Does anyone know the correct frequency for a 2002 S600?

Thanks in advance for any help.

european use to 433 mhz
us version standard 315 mhz
you can use a frequency counter to measure the frequency at the tire transmitter
