Smoke under Bonnet
Here's an interesting dilema.
Saw some smoke whilst at the traffic lights yesterday. Pulled over to have a look and couldn't open the bonnet. I am new to the car and thought perhaps I was doing something wrong.
Looked under the car and saw oil dripping down onto the exhaust manifold...smoke source found. I was close to the mechanic so as there was nothing obviously wrong I drove to the shop.
Bonnet still stuck. How on earth do we get it opened. The right side opens but the left side is jammed tight. There was much banging on the bonnet and a fair amount of pulling which didn't look good for it but so far no damage. Can we get this off without damaging it?

I love fishing...and that's what they did. No damage to bonnet. Oil from transmission...possibly over filled? Anyway he says there was no seal problems and gave things a clean so looks like I am good to go.
