S500 Brake Pads?

RE: S500 Brake Pads?
When the light comes on!
Sorry I don't mean to be flippant but the dealer has advised you that the pads are nearing the end of their life but that it is not yet necessary to change them. Once the light comes on you can still drive for a period whilst you arrange for the pads to be changed.
No definitive figures since it depends on your driving style but I guess you still have several thousand miles life left.
The light will tell you when you need to ring the garage and even then there is still several mm of pad material left so you won't loose your brakes the moment the light comes on!
just get them fixed within a reasonable time frame otherwise if not you could damage the rotors which need to be changed approximately every other pad change anyway.
