Default S500 1997 Model Shocks Might Be Messed Up ?

hey guys i was wondering if any of you could help me out. i replaced the shocks on my S500 like no less than two weeks ago. even after that, my car is still really bumpy on the roads. even when the car is in park, i can feel the car vibrating. does anyone know if it might have something to do with the way i installed the shocks?

Doyou have ADS and/or self levelingsuspension? You would know as the shocks arereally hydralic struts with hydralic lines connected to them. This isthehydropneumatic self-levelling system with resovoir spheres. If yes, bleeding the hydralic system will be required. Send me an email I can provide the info.

If non ADS/leveling shocks and you installed OEM shocks, they willbe stiff for a while. Are the shock mounts ok?

I came across your email reply and thought you could help me. I have an 1999 S500 with broken rear strut. Ordered and received new mercedes self leveling shock (ouch $750). removed old strut and about 1/2 quart of fluid leaked out. Do you have repair instructions for re-install, oil refill and any neceassary bleeding? Thanks
