I own a 2006 S430 and every few months I need to reset my settings. Is this something I can reset or do I need to go back to the dealer?

what settings do you need to reset?

 

I am not able to see the screen that shows your mileage and hours traveled. The message that I see on the screen says to hold the "R" buttton for 3 seconds to reset, but when I do that it just asks me if I want to return to the factory settings. I'm not sure why this is happening.

u have buttons that change menu on the instrument cluster. They are located on your steering wheel and have like messeges drawn on them, flip those up or down to change your menu

 

I tried navigating through those screens already and wasn't able to pull up the screen I wsa looking for, but I will try again.
