Default REAR TIRES WEARING FAST-2001 S 500

HELLP! I just bought brand new Nexen tires about 3 months ago. I hardly ever drive my S 500 (weekends only). However, my rear tires are almost bald. Any ideas why? Someone suggested that I need a REAR wheel alignment...Is that possible? I'm wondering why my front tires are still almost brand new-but the rear tires need to be replaced....Apprecaite your help/feedback @ revice@comcast.net

Interesting, I think the torque of the S500 combined with either cheap Chinese or Korean tires (no offense to our Asian brothers) is the problem. You did not say that the wear was uneven, if simply bald then you can not blame the alignment. The Acura NSX had the same problem with quality stock Yokohomas usually at 6K or so. 3 months seems soon but if you have put 4-6K on them and you are using all that torque with your right foot then it is the tire. Presumably your previous tires did not wear like this?. How about some more clues on miles, driving style, and history of tire wear?

I agree with II Kings, but you know the deal...

You've been at the traffic light, and someone wanted to know that you really have under the hood what it professs to have, and you have to show them! Now, add that up! Now, there you go!

Stop proving yourself and drive the Benz, and you'll have longer tire wear!

Don't try to bullSh*y us, because we already know the deal!

If you're keep'in it real, then...keep it real!!! Stop spin'n!!![8D]
