hello guys,

well recently i just had a problem with the rear power sun shade on my 93 300 SE,,, the shade is stuck in the up position and wont go down,, i press the button and it just moves a little bit just 1 inch and wont go down anymore.. when i press the up button after it goes up again and it makes this werid noise like krrrrr=-krrrrrr===krrrrrr.. i was wondering what could it be , the motor ( if any) seems to work fine, also the switch works too as it just puts the shade only one inch down.. all fuses i checked and are fine.. cananybody help

Ihad similar problem once, it was the geared track mechanism and or adjustment of motor gear to track. Mechanic was going to take apart, but we had someone carefully push on both sides of the shade while another activated the switch. Did that a few times and it went back down ok. I am careful now not to put in thecomplete up position. If this does not work, usually means track to motor adjustment or replacement

thank you very much for your reply,, i did the trick you described here today and it worked.. but still the shade is kinda slow now going up and down , its not like it use to be before stronger ( going up and down fast).. but thank you though it worked for me ..
